How to apply for International roaming:

If you are a Post paid subscriber & wish to take international roaming on a fresh connection then just tick the same on Tariff Enrolment Form. Existing subscribers can simply fill the Roaming agreement form with a photo ID. Till 31st Sep, 09 there are no monthly charges for postpaid international roaming. With effect from 1st Oct 2009, monthly charges @ Rs 99 per month will be charged for the same. There is also a refundable security deposit of INR 3,000/- for International Roaming.

Following documents will be acceptable as Photo Id:

• Passport Copy
• Driving License
• Pan Photo Id
• Credit Card Copy

It's just a 2-step process:

Step 1 - Walk into our special outlet and ask for the SPECIAL SIM card required for International roaming. . 

Step 2 – Fill up a form, bring along your proof of address and identity and Pay INR 75.  Thereafter, relax and enjoy trip.

You will be able to talk to those who matter. When you come back, stay with the same SIM. No need to go and return it. And if you happen to fly out again in near future, just carry the phone along! The process once done, is done forever! Happy talking!

You will have to do minor setting on your phone before you start using the international roaming service on your TATA DOCOMO SIM.
To ensure that your International roaming is working you will have to go to your phone menu and look for Dive In Now services. Select it and you will get the following options in t he Dive In Now Main Menu:

English Menu
Hindi Menu,
International Roaming
mCheck/(mWallet)

You will have to select International roaming and then choose Roam 2 as an option in-order to start using the service. In some high end handsets the option of Dive in Now services (DSTK) will appear under the applications sub menu.
